Lauren Dorn-Jones joined Families First as Director of Development & Communications in November 2017. She has over 20 years of fundraising experience in the Boston area. Prior to Families First, Lauren served as the Director of Development at Boston University Hillel, and she held development positions at the David Project and Jewish Family & Children’s Service.
Her first career was as a teacher, which sparked her love for education and motivated her to work for organizations that make a difference in the lives of children.
At Families First, Lauren drives the organization’s financial development strategy by cultivating deep and meaningful experiences for donors and identifying philanthropic opportunities that will strengthen Families First today and in the future.
Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts from the Boston University School of Communications and a Master of Education from Lesley University. She hails from Boston and now lives in Bedford, MA, with her husband, Michael, and son, Charlie.
