This year Families First is celebrating 30 years as a leading parenting organization in the Boston area.
The organization would not be in the strong position it is today without our supporters, who have given us their trust and confidence to provide the best parenting support possible to families. In return, we work hard to ensure that every single program meets the needs of the families we work with.
Parents have always been central to our work. But today, more than ever before, we are giving parents’ unique voices a strong platform within our programs. By incorporating their insights and ideas, we are better serving the needs of families.
When parents sign up for a Power of Parenting program, they build their family’s future by accessing parenting education that is rooted in science, connections to community resources, and critical support from other parents.
Over the past 10 years alone, more than 25,000 parents in Massachusetts have accessed Families First’s free parenting support, for the benefit of 50,000 children.
We are there when parents share stories of breakthroughs with their children, of parenting transformations, and of newfound peace and strength.
Parents like Carlota, who said, “As a parent, I am much more aware and attentive and engaged. This journey is not only for myself or my daughter but for us together. Because of this program, I am strengthened as a mother, and we will triumph as a family.”
