Ashlan joined the Families First staff in September 2015. She has past experience working with a variety of populations, including homeless youth and children and youth in residential settings. In this work she recognized the great impact that parenting can have on children, families, and communities as a whole.
Ashlan is passionate about providing opportunities for children and families to thrive despite the challenges they may face. She leads the evaluation efforts at Families First in order to continuously improve programming and demonstrate the impact of the organization’s work on the lives of families. Ashlan is also a member of the American Evaluation Association.
She earned a BSW with a Second Major in Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University and an MSW from Boston College.
