FF: How did you get involved with Families First?

Marc Freiberger: I was introduced to Families First through a friend of mine. When I attended the organization’s Breakfast Benefit, I was moved by the stories of the parents who spoke after participating in Families First’s programs. I was also impressed with the foundation that Families First puts in place for the future of our community.

FF: What do you strive for as a parent?

Marc: I am currently a father to two teenagers, and I am completely amazed by how different their temperaments are. My goal is to support my children in whatever they want to achieve, and I strive to give them the space they need to succeed independently. I also think it’s important to allow them to fail. When they do, I will be there to support them.

FF: What would you say to folks thinking about getting more involved with Families First?

Marc: I would encourage everyone and anyone to attend a Families First event like the Breakfast, or participate in their Power of Parenting program. You will immediately see and feel the impact of their work!
